Brenda, Jen, Diya and Kanika joined other volunteers at the Summer Fair at Furze Platt Junior School. What started as a breezy and cool morning turned into a beautiful day as families poured in.
Brenda started the first hour at the Tambola stall before joining Jen at the Tea and Refreshments for the second hour - extra claps for both on doing two sessions!
Diya took charge of the nerf-gun stall and even got a visit from the police to make sure the guns were legal 😆
Kanika handled the golf green cheering on the little golfers all trying to land the ball on a £5 note for the win. On finishing her session and handing over to the next volunteer, she joined Diya at the nerf-gun just as she was being swamped by eager young shooters and a certain excited councillor (and GoodGymmer) Jack.
Such a fun day for the families and volunteers alike!
