34 families were helped today with Food In School Holiday (F.I.S.H). The frozen meal today was Beef Hotpot and Mushroom Risotto for the vegetarian option. As usual there was lots of fresh produce donated so our bags contained Bread, eggs, potatoes, bottle of water, juice carton, crayons, crisps, instructions on how to cook/ store our frozen meal. A selection of fruit and vegetables were put out for anyone to take if they wanted them. The book stall was back outside for children to select themselves a book and activity packs. The usual 3day box of essentials was the main focus for collection. There was a lovely chocolate birthday cake donated today and the first family who came today, the eldest daughter collecting told us it was her little brothers birthday tomorrow, she was very excited to select the cake from our extras table. Her beaming smile said it all.
