Another blast of litter tonight, this time to help Sustrans keep National Cycle Network Route 6 through Bede Park neat and tidy! By the time we'd finished we'd collected such a variety of discarded items we could play the conveyor belt finale to The Generation Game! A shoe, a pair of shoes in a box, a woolly hat, an umbrella plus the usual assortment of cans, bottles and food packets.
Tonight we marked Dave's 200th good deed hot on the heels of Stu last week. Dave founded GoodGym in Leicester and has been a huge support to the group since stepping down as trainer. A true GoodGym Leicester legend!
We celebrated our recent running exploits, most notably Stu "The Weekend Welshman" completing Conwy Half over the weekend and Dave picking up a fine course PB at Watermead.
A post pick sorting session ensured the aluminium cans were separated out for Jen to take away and recycle, super attention to detail!
Well done everyone.
Happy running, HD
