Drop in - you know you want to really!!!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Brunel Primary Care Network in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 21st of August 2021
- Led by Portsmouth runner
Today was set up as a drop in for 16-18 year olds. Jo & Vicki started the shift. Jo was in the waiting area & Vicki was by the back door handing out crosses to patients entering the tent. It started off steady & the tent was full - accompanying adults were asked to stand, chairs were only for the patients!!! π€£ Thought it was going to continue like this but then it all went quiet. Tracey arrived for a start at 12 & Rachel (super dooper π― park run achiever) took over from Jo at 1pm. Rachel & Tracey were by the back door & tent too but after a while Tracey went home as it was quiet. At around 2.20pm it picked up and the tent became busy again!!!
Oh well at least some more people got Jabbed.
On Vickiβs walk home she stopped for a car & saw someone smiling & waving - it was only the vicar from St Faiths!!!! ππ I wonder if he had been shopping for club biscuits?! π
