Doughnut eat then run (Karaoke Special)
11 GoodGymers made their way 5.4km to help the Malago Berry Maze in Bristol.

As this heatwave continues, we gathered together a group of already sweaty GoodGymers from various impressive Saturday morning running escapades, and set off to top up our tans while doing good. It was great to have Gina join us for our second Good Deed - thanks Gina!
We ran along the Malago Greenway to our regular task, with Chris doing a wonderful job of leading a GoodGym rendition of 'Wannabe' on the way. Expect the unexpected at GoodGym...
We arrived at our regular task, the Malago Greenway Berry Maze. In this beautiful weather, the maze has built up quite a hoard of weeds and takes a lot of hands and hours to keep on top of the space. After meeting the adorable arrival of new baby Alexander (described as Raluca's 'fifth baby' after her other four children and the maze) , we got an update from Raluca on the maze and Barney showed us his best techniques for shovel-ing, hoe-ing and trowel-ing. We got suncream top ups, chose our weapons of choice and quickly set to work.
An hour of doing our best weeding in the sun flew by. It was soon time to review our work (which Barney gave us the high accolade that he could really see the difference!) and dig into the doughnuts and fruit that were kindly provided for us and the other Saturday volunteers at the maze.
With sticky fingers, sugary mouths and 'sloshy' bellies, we returned to Mud Dock, pleased with ourselves and ready to enjoy the sun in a much more relaxed manner. A Saturday morning well-spent - well done to everyone!
