Six hardy GoodGymers met during a break in the clouds for what might be the last group litter pick for a little while! Numpty November / lockdown lunacy may have already started to set in but we filled many a bag of litter and recycling.
I finally got to meet Sinead today!
Pizza was on our minds after we'd found figs, peppers and tomatoes - as well as some BBQ sauce for the side and a satsuma for afterwards. We also found a bowl and fork so dinner was pretty much covered.
As usual there were plenty of cans (a lot of cider!) which Vicki collected in her found Asda bag! We picked up a wine rack and shelves from a fridge as well as a basket holder dug out of some brambles and nettles. There were of course some clothes: pants (bingo!), 1 shoe, 2 socks & 3 gloves plus a dog blanket. There was a poo in to shoe too (the sequel to cat in the hat).
Rosie took home a piece of a dumped lamp so she can fit a lampshade at home. We also met a lady who is helping to set up "Compassionately Portsmouth" so we are hoping to collaborate with them in the future.
Another good morning all round.
