DJ Goodgymer goes classical
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Oxford.
- Saturday, 19th of December 2020
Here's what Mr E of OX3 had to say about the mission:
Comment from the referrer - 'Thanks so much for organising this, and to Ben for being so helpful. Mr E was delighted! Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a hopeful New Year!'
Mr E enjoys listening to classical music inside his flat but was at a loss as to how to connect his CD player to the TV or any speakers he has but never fear, Goodgym help was close at hand. After getting acquainted with the CD player, cables, headphones and various connections, the masked Goodgymer was able to get to grips with tuning the player and adjusting the connections. After some tests and trial and error, we got some Beethoven coming through the headphones and then finally the speakers, much to the glee of Mr E!
Mr E was very happy to have the free reign to play his music to his hearts content. During the task, we chatted about scientific research, the vaccine and how Mr E is now an expert using Zoom to connect with family living elsewhere. I do hope he has a very merry Christmas!
