Digging deep
12 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

12 goodgymmers met up at the Town Hall Hotel and after a short period of lounging in our suite we decided it was probably time to get out and make Tower Hamlets a better place. After a short run over to a local estate Tom split us into two groups where we completed a series of warm up exercises and short sprints.
Feeling suitably rosy we headed off to get stuck into some gardening work - a slight change from our planned painting that was delayed for a couple of weeks awaiting necessary equipment (paint). After 40 minutes of digging weeds, preparing beds, some hardcore edging work and general tidying we had reclaimed the playground from the weeds, no doubt to the delight of children far and wide.
When our labours were done we ran over toe Haggerston Park for a series of short intervals mixed with core training. After a worrying moment of being locked in the park we all teamed up to help one another escape and, feeling suitably Bear Grylls - like, we trotted back to base.
Well done all.
