Lewisham

Mission

Did we benchion we're handy with a screwdriver?

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Two keen runners skipped across to help sort out Mrs B's garden and fix the broken garden bench. The secluded garden looked great following the previous missions and Jacqueline was tempted to rest awhile near the recently revealed pond (her legs were a little tired from the earlier parkrun!) But no, her and Monica got stuck straight into repairing the bench and took turns 'encouraging' the brackets into place. Wow - who knew that putting in a few screws would be so tricky! Exhausted from their efforts and no time for any gardening, they both sat down; just to test that the bench was safe. Mrs B will now be able to sit and relax in her peaceful garden.
