Dead heading and weed pulling
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Paulsgrove Community Garden in Portsmouth.

A heavy downpour this morning left us wondering whether this would still be happening but thankfully the rain hadn't reached Paulsgrove. Lucy had already ran Lakeside parkrun and had been caught in the downpour. The recent rain meant the plants and vegetables didn't need to be watered so we started work on weeding and dead heading plants that had died ready for them regrowing next year. We filled the wheelbarrow several times and India and Lucy took this around to the compost heap. There wasn't much more to do after removing weeds, picking up cat poo and dead heading the plants so we packed up after an hour and headed home
