On Saturday morning 15 goodgymers cam for an action packed run in the sun. This week's task was to help Incredible Edible in the heart of St Paul's to restore a community garden.
We met at the Roll for the Soul at 11am and after a quick intro from Chris headed off an a circuitous route to St Paul's. The whole of Bristol was full of Morris dancers -no idea why! - so we joined in with some dynamic stretching through broadmead.
Once in St Paul's we met Sara from Incredible Edible and Pete from the local community. The task was to help revive a community garden by clearing lots of brambles and vegetation. Everyone got really stuck in and we got loads done.
At the end of the task Pru joined us to put us through our paces. We ran back to the bearpit where we had a dance off with more Morris dancers,I'm pretty sure our walking squats won the day!
Great work everyone on a brilliant run. We smashed it!
