19 if Hackney’s finest put on an all star performance running 4k planting 600 bulbs and smashing 20 minutes of Exercise Roulette!!
Welcoming a few new faces to Hackney and GoodGym on a properly cold November Evening.
We needed to get the blood flowing so with Phil leading the way we zipped a slightly scenic 2k route across to De Beauvoir Square where met Park Ranger Bruce. With 600 bulbs to plant we got going in the wild meadow lifting turf and planting 400 Daffodils and 200 Blue Bells ready to bloom in Spring. Our planting skills were so serious that we finished in 20 minutes of dynamic planting action!!
With time on our hands Katie has the brilliant idea of getting an old favourite back into action, so ** Exercise Roulette** made a triumphant return to Hackney!! 18 exercises picked at random testing every bit of our physical and mental make up! Sprints, to squats, to plyometrics and even a couple of Burpee variations to finish off the night!! Ensuring that we all got plenty of chance to increase the fitness!!
Thanks for everyone for coming along and hope to see you all again next week when we visit St Luke’s to spread some festive cheer!
Reminder to get your Christmas outfits ready for our final session of 2017 on the 12th of December!! Also that we will be going to Tad Turkish restaurant after the session and would love everyone to come along!
Have a great week
