Coach Runner Run + Festive Cheer(s)
13 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Camden.
- Sunday, 13th of December 2015
Some GoodGym coach runners from across London met on a drizzly, wintery Sunday in Central London for a nice looped run along the Thames to share our experience of coach running with each other. After quick intros of name, coach and how long we'd been paired for we got warmed up with a few exercises on London Bridge.
We set off heading East towards Tower Bridge, crossing over to the north side of the river and past the Tower of London. There we came across a mass gathering of Santas who festively cheered as we jogged past, and then cheered us again as we managed to go a little off-piste and had to turn around.
On towards Blackfriars Bridge we ran before crossing over to Bankside passing Tate Modern and back to London Bridge where we finished with a few stretches. Some ran off home or to see their coach and the rest headed to warm up with pie and mash and more festive cheer.
