Clover and out 🍀
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 19th of October 2019
Maxine continued her super busy day fitting in a mission for Mrs B mid lunch & games date. I had managed to visit the new bookshop on Albert Road (it's fab by the way) & buy my niece's birthday present.
Mrs B lives on one of the roads that will be closed for the Great South Run tomorrow so although it was quiet this afternoon, it'll be very different tomorrow. Mrs B did say she would look out of the window and wave at us as we run past!
Our mission was to weed her forecourt (lots and lots of clover in the flowerbed as well as the standard brambles that just get everywhere) and trim the plant that was trying to take over the path. We didn't find any 4 leaf clovers but Maxine found a penny so we still get some luck! 🤞
Mission was accomplished in 45 minutes, 4 bin bags full of weeds and clippings and one happy Mrs B! Maxine headed back to Dice for some games and I headed home for some carbs!

Great work both and I hope Mrs B got to wave at you during the Great South Run on Sunday!
