Changing a bulb(s)
12 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

- Led by Laura Williams
12 GoodGym runners cast aside the temptations of beer, wine, cake and other bank holiday diversions to head over to Hollybush Community Centre on Monday night.
After a brief warm up to attract attention outside of Town Hall Hotel we ran the short distance over to the estate. Margaret had a great task for us as we face 15 tonnes of soil....thinking that's more than a tonne each! Thankfully we didn't have to move the whole lot.
We started by carefully removing bulbs from plant beds running through the middle of the estate before laying fresh soil into the beds ready for replanting. After we had finished the task we ran over to Victoria Park where we split into two groups with Julia taking a group on a longer route through the park and Tom taking a group on two smaller loops. As it was a holiday Tom was feeling generous and skipped interval training.......for once......and we just ran for the love of running!
Looking forward to next week.
