Chairs for the help!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Crewe.
- Friday, 8th of March 2024
- Led by Nicola Marshall
GoodGym stalwarts Maurice and Karen provided some much needed help this afternoon with setting up Motherwell’s International Women’s Day celebrations. The event is always busy with over 50 local community organisations, dance performances, singing and poetry, as well as crafts and fundraising. Our role today was to move and set out all the tables and chairs for the 50 organisations, and move the restaurant tables and chairs for the performance space. With these tasks completed, we set out to help with some of the stalls, filling the book stall, tombola and craft stall. Within 90 minutes the room was ready for an amazing event tomorrow. We always love helping Motherwell, and they were very grateful for the help with the physical tasks today.
