Four fantastic GG Yorkies turned out on a sunny and rainy morning for a bumper 2 hour task with Sustrans.

Our first mission was to clear the weeds around some young trees which were barely visible above the masses of nettles and other less stingy weeds. Within an hour the fruit trees were visible once more.

After a leisurely tea break, we switched to balsam bashing where everyone was excited to find that not only was the balsam taller than even the tallest in Team Tall, but also, it has choked out most of the nettles!

We'd cleared a massive amount by the time the rain came in properly and ran through the downpour to get home!
