Can GoodGym help? Curtainly...
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Thursday, 4th of March 2021
The lovely Miss A had taken her thick voile curtains down in her front room for their regular wash but she wasn't able to put them back up.
So Matt and I signed up to pop over and help. With a bit of improvisation as there were curtain hooks but no eyelets, we were able to get the curtains back up on the rail and adjusted so that Miss A was able to enjoy her front room again. It turned out that the lack of eyelets was deliberate strategy and the curtains were just hooked over the rail to make it easier for the to get them off without having to climb on anything .
Miss A was really pleased with the help and we all looked forward to when covid restrictions are lifted so that any goodgymers could stay longer for a chat and a cuppa after a task.
