Trainer Simon and new starter Conor helped Ringcross Community Centre with their regular food bank delivery service this afternoon. Lindsey and the team have been really busy during lockdown, supplying donated food stuffs and everyday products to local families, the elderly and the isolated.

Our task was to drop off a weeks worth of shopping to neighbours located within a 2 mile radius of the centre. Some of these could be done on foot (using some large capacity waterproof dry bags), others would require a bike journey to reach our destination.

Between the three of us (we were joined by a local student called Joe as well- might see him at a Goodgym sometime soon!), we delivered 9 parcels across Islington safely, efficiently and with no carbon footprint.

Keep an eye out for future delivery tasks with Ringcross Community Centre- we are likely to post some late afternoon/evening tasks very soon. Watch this space!
