6 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Redbridge.

Six Goodgymmers braved the unpredictable and chilly weather to assemble at Wanstead House, with a further three having to pull out for various reasons.
Besides a few of the usual suspects, we had the pleasure of welcoming both someone new to Goodgym (give Rajesh a big cheer!) as well as an experienced one on a mission to visit every area in London - Olivia.
Linda kindly offered to lead the walking group, so three set off to the Cornerstone church, with the other three chasing them down a little later.
Arriving within a minute of each other and at the agreed time (how did we do that??), we were welcomed by a waiting Adam, kindly offering a hot drink to warm up. Energized we set to work sifting through the bags of donated clothing, both quality checking as separating by size and clothing vs accessories.
Before we knew it, the bags were emptied, clothing crated up by size and accessories bagged up for later sorting. Saying our goodbyes to Adam, we followed his expert local knowledge and found new shorter ways back to base/home/station, happy in the knowledge we made a difference in the lives of some mums needing a helping hand
