Bush Trimmer Trial
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Saturday, 8th of September 2018
One wet morning, we set out to Mr A's house. Upon arrival we soon saw that the grass was way too wet to be cut so unfortunately the mower and strimmer did not make an appearance. However, Mr A got the Loppers and shears out and we were well on our way. We trimmed a lot of Ivy on Mr A's fence and Mikey really went to town on the bramble bush! We even found Sammy the squirrel tucked away on the fence!
It was definitely a thirsty job but luckily for us Mr A treated us to some Pepsi and Tango- yummy! After a quick break, we cleared up and filled the green garden waste bin - we don't think Mr A's bin has ever been so full (See picture)!!
Sure to be back again to mow Mr A's lawn but for now the garden looks a lot tidier.
