11 GoodGymers did an amazing job cutting back some big bushes along a fence at Whipton Community Hall!
Tuesday again and so nice to see you all at this evening's task! It was a great spot for us with plenty of space for social distancing and it was great to give the small group of volunteers that looks after the Community Hall in Whipton some helping hands, clearing the fence outside from overgrowth.
We had a lovely time working and we definitely got a full body work-out pulling down all that ivy, cutting back the oversized bushes and then transporting it all away in wheel barrows. Brilliant work everyone!
Jo did some very good motivational talks when the branches seemed to thick to cut off, Nonny seemed very skilled at shaping the bushes she was cutting into nice shapes and Craig did a great job leading the four runners tangled into ivy over to the compost heap!
What a team! What an effort!
Wendy, the task owner was so happy with how much we got done and I have to say I was very impressed too!
I hope you all had some great runs and bike rides back home and I look forward to seeing you all very soon again! We have some brilliant tasks coming up so just take a look here and sign up!
