Bug, new hotel just opened and ready for buzzness.

An enthusiastic team of Community Champions were buzzing about their latest project to construct a bug hotel on their school grounds.
Following an idea from the RSPB website the super six wasted no time. The playground was a hive of activity as the pupils swarmed about, finding suitable materials for the big build.
Pallets were moved to make the main structure, secured with wooden poles, hammered in using a handy piece of flint!
To fill the gaps, bamboo, straw, old plant pots, and wood chippings were gathered in. The old raised beds were cleared of dead plants and these, too were added.
The result was quite a fine looking multi storey bug hotel...complete with some wormy guests already installed.
A heavy, tough-at-times but extremely fun task.
