Bright Sparks end up with a screw loose

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

The first day of Advent and Stephen and I have started the final month of the year in ‘good’ form. Sacrificing a Friday night in the pub (a particular struggle for me) to help Mrs Beatrice is an example to us all!

Tonight’s job was very straightforward: change the proverbial light bulb in Mrs B’s bathroom. The task itself took about 3 minutes but we decided to make life more challenging by losing one of the screws for the protective case. 10 minutes later, Mrs B found it, sharper eyes than us two.

She was most grateful and sent us on our way with Christmas wishes. Another satisfied customer.
