Maria and Sam met up Simon and the Thorlands Gardens volunteers to continue on the project. Today, they focused their attention on the platform area. Firstly, clearing the bricks in the corner by saving the good ones and tossing the bad ones in a black rubble bag.
After this, they concentrated on getting the bindweed out from the soil near the corners and fence before putting the cardboard down.
The last 30 mins was dedicated to doing three wheelbarrow trips to get woodchip mulch.
