Another good session at the SHP Allotments. During the week we had had a word with a kindly man who was having a bathroom delivered and he agreed to set aside his cardboard packaging for us to use a weed sheet at the allotments, there was a lot of it and he even helped load it up into the car. β€οΈ
Linda and Eddie got delayed thanks to the press whipping up people to panic buy petrol causing massive static traffic queues in the area. π€ Fortunately the ever patient James was happy to stretch out his post park run marshalling breakfast to kill a bit of time before cycling over to the mission.
After we off loaded the boxes James and Linda removed all the sticky tape and labels from them as it would not breakdown easily. We then laid them out over the beds. Meanwhile Ed carried on with breaking up pallets which we will use to make wood surrounds for the vegetable beds.
Little by little we are making progress. I forgot to take photos so hereβs one of cardboard packaging in case you were having trouble imagining it π
