Not quite making the start time due to work commitments (boss in the office), I was glad to still find a few plants that needed rescuing from their pots to join the rest in the soil (got told off for calling it dirt....)
Digging for the few larger plants left, there was all sorts of things coming out of the freshly dug holes, from cans to plastic packaging to bones..... animal ones we hope.... any experts to tell us what they are? Sofar the presence of a local chicken shop is a good hint...
Planting done, there was time left to roam around picking up loose bits of rubbish, mainly from near the fence along the main road - people do make a mess, as shown by a now full bin!
Jobs done, tools & lots of empty pots were packed away at base, discussions about future projects & Goodgym involved - there is more to come this summer!
