Run report written by the whole team at the summer social party post session, in a game of GG run report consequences
13 Red shirted ninjas were introduced to 1 neighbourhood tip site. 13 refuse sacks late, plus sighting of 4 rats - Job Done. 6 hills to follow, 264 curb toe taps, 100 squats and 5k done. Just a typical night for Goodgym Brent.
Working with our favourite community crew The Willesden Town Team, the task was to clear up the mess on Walm Lane and get the Neighbourhood Block looking ship shape and summer ready. Couples with hill sprints and conditioning drills, the night was a GG Brent to remember
Yay-For ham We were back with our favourite neighbourhood rep Abraham (Better known to all of us as Babe-raham) Armed with our pickers and blue sacks we set to work demolishing the rubbish on the creepy alleyway. We found an entire stash of make-up that we tried to apply to Ellie, ready for our night on the tiles.
With Chaka Khan and Diana Ross providing motivational support, we smashed through the task, giving the local neighbourhood rats (Roland and friends) a wide berth. Thirteen bags of Rubbish later and one awkward middle of the road photo, with some poor civilians definitely confused as to why we were posing up a storm with such a massive pile of trash?!?!? We hit the hills.
The Hills were alive with the sound of GoodGym and the sound of our feet toe-tapping the curb like a set of duracell bunnies. "Rest time" was..... narrow leg squats, to power up our glutes for all the hill training we were set to endure.
After the drills and spills (of sweat) we were running back to The Queensbury for our Summer Shindig, where we could almost taste the Guinness waiting for us on chill. As we arrived back there was one thing in order...... FOOD, DRINK and Merriment!!! and....... to celebrate our very own Clairey-Bell achieving her "100" winged tee for 100 Good Deeds Done!!! WOW.
Dinner was enjoyed with lots of planning talk about team trips to Berlin and the next group challenge we were up for taking on. Well done team, another awesome one down for the West London warriors.
See you next time!!!
