Better to give than take?
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Hackney.
- Saturday, 19th of January 2019

Our friends at FRP got in touch during the week to see if there might be some helping hands available for their 'Give & Take' event this weekend at the Redmond Centre in Woodberry Down, in cooperation with Hackney Council.
Turns out it is a full on busy event! From unloading the van carrying the items collected from the libraries to spreading all that out over the different tables to sorting through the items being dropped off on the morning, 2 hours were gone in no time at all. Managed to sneak in a few looks and pictures of curious items - anybody heard of a Beetle Game? Personal favorite was the little wooden walking bike!
With the busiest physical part done and additional volunteers arriving to assist in crowd management, it was time to bid my goodbyes and heed the call of the rugby ball
