7 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Tower Hamlets.
- Saturday, 3rd of December 2016
Seven GoodGymmers helped St. Peters Community Wellbeing Projects shift some compost for their garden. On arrival, we were offered greatly appreciated tea and biscuits and a chance to look at a super cool time lapse video of a previous mission, before it was time to head out into the cold.
The task at hand was fairly simple – shift 100 bags of composts from outside the centre to slats that had been laid out on top of the flower beds ready to be used at a later date. With seven of us in tow, we had it sorted in no time at all – with Phil and Andy in charge of arranging the bags while the rest of us went back and forth.
We then did a bit of leaf clearance (a fairly common theme for GoodGym at this time of year) before we headed back inside for some more delicious food. Overall, a happy and productive morning!
