Bagged a Baguette for Mr D
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Luton.
- Friday, 27th of October 2023
On my last 2 visits to Mr D he mentioned that he loves baguettes but that he is never able to get them fresh as his shopping is ordered online for him by his son. So on my way to his I popped in briefly to my local Lidl and picked up one of their demi baguettes 🥖. I can’t believe how happy such a simple thing could make someone, but Mr D was so made up. He tried to give me money to pay for it but of course there was no need. When I left after our usual session of putting the world to rights he was so looking forward to having his lunch of French bread, ham and tomatoes . It’s the Little things that make such a big difference. He said he’d had the best day!!!
