π§οΈ 16 dedicated GoodGymmers, two lovely dogs and a baby leapt (ish) out of bed bright and early on a sunny* (π€£) Saturday morning for a lovely jog around the Knavesmire.
πββοΈπββοΈFor some it was our first Knavesmire parkrun, for others it was the first for a while. And yet others are regulars.
π¬οΈ It may have drizzled and blown an (almost) gale but we got round and Paul Kelly even got a PB πͺ (I hear that Ed's taking some credit for that but I've also heard that it was really Fergy pacing everyone π©)
πΈ After gathering for a group photo, we headed to The Knavesmire pub for a classic breakfast π³ We just about managed to digest it before some of us jogged/cycled in the (somewhat heavier) rain to our next venue - Mayfields Community Trust π±
π Brilliant to see so many people out despite the weather and do let me know if you've got any suggestions/requests for our future parkrun ventures as it would be great to make it a regular thing π
β *NB It rained. But not as much as the community mission later so that's probably a win π€·ββοΈ
PS Apologies for the slightly niche Poirot reference in the pun. I may have spent the first lockdown binge-watching Poirot π
