An Apple a day
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Nice to visit Mr G again, having picked up his shopping for him a few times in the past. A new experience this time, helping him with his IT issues. A recent update to his tablet’s OS left several of his apps looking unfamiliar, and he hadn’t been able to get them working how he wanted. He was delighted that I managed to restore WhatsApp to its old format, and even more pleased that I managed to link it up on his iPhone as well. He also wanted to turn off Facebook email notifications which I managed quite quickly.
We also achieved a few other bits of digital tidying up such as sorting photos into album folders. It was fascinating to hear the stories behind some of the artwork and places in the pictures.
An added bonus was Lucy arriving mid-task to do Mr G’s weekly shopping trip - special shout out to her for adding extra expertise on apps I was less familiar with.
All in all, a successful visit and Mr G seemed very happy with the results
