All you need is Love, Love Luton Runfest GoodGym Marshals
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Love Luton in Luton.

Three GoodGymers were up early for the 8am meet at Wardown Park to marshal the 5k, 10k and half marathon runners in Luton’s annual running spectacular - Love Luton Runfest.
Donning our hi-vis and armed with the volunteer bags that GoodGym had helped to pack the day before we headed to where we were needed in the park.
Each GoodGym marshal had a crucial role around hardest part of the course (around the last 2km of each race) . Dani was the cheerful guardian of the archway at Wardown House museum. Duncan was the defender of the bollard, stopping any unfortunate accidents by directing runners around. Finally, myself acting as the navigator pointing runners down the correct path toward the water station.
It was amazing to see the Luton spirit of all the runners and their dedication. In fact, most runners clapped or cheered us right back for marshaling the runfest.
Duncan, as the leader of our marshal group, had taken his role with the seriousness it deserves by prepping a boom box with a carefully tailored playlist of bangers to cheer runners along.
The loudest cheers go out to the GoodGym runners participating in the 10k and half marathon flying the GoodGym flag and wearing their GoodGym shirts. Well done everyone and see you next year!
