All we are saying is give peace a chance
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Friends of Leagrave Park in Luton.

3 Goodgymers supported the Piece by Peace project at Leagrave Park. Initially we thought we'd be putting up the marquee for the summer events but that wasn't viable today, so we set about ticking off some other jobs for the community initiative. We revisited the trees that we check in on from time to time and tidied up the long grass around the base and secured the posts and wire guard that was protecting them. We did a little litterpick around the trees and play area then moved into the theatre garden. After moving some large planters and cutting the grass with shears an area was created that will be a fantistic community meeting place. We the power washed a large pond liner and set about creating a small pond area with pallets and wooden planters. I'm sure with some nice additions this will be a great area of the theatre garden too. All in all it was a good job done and greatly appreciated by the project
