All Give and Hoe Rake
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

A follow up gardening mission for Richard and me this lunchtime as we returned to help Mr M once again.
We nearly didn’t get to do the task as the lock securing Mr M’s shed would not unlock, despite all of us trying our luck (and the neighbour too).
So keen was Mr M to get his grass cut whilst the weather was dry that we all agreed that the only course of action was to unscrew the bolt from the shed door. We quickly retrieved the lawn mower, some shears and our favourite of all Mr M’s tools - a rake and a hoe all in one! A genius piece of kit!
Whilst Richard deftly mowed the lawn like a seasoned professional, I clipped around the edges and cut back some brambles and then it was on to part two of our task.
Mr M’s back yard and greenhouse was full of weeds and brambles, so in the time we had left we made a start on clearing this, so that by the time we’d finished, Mr M was already planning the purchase of a garden table and chairs so that he can sit out in the sunshine.
There’s plenty left to do here, but it was great to get some of the area clear for him and make good use of our favourite tool! 😊
