1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 22nd of June 2024
Another visit to Mr M to cut his grass and try to create safer access along the pathways for the public as his trees, bushes and brambles were very overgrown and low hanging.
Mr M was delighted to see his lawn tidier by the end of my visit - “it just makes me want to sit out in the garden” - and I received some lovely comments and words of encouragement from passers by when tackling the overgrown foliage along the pathway - particularly from one tall chap who was delighted that he would no longer have to bend down each time he wandered by.
There’s still some more cutting back to do but it was great to make one of the roadsides a bit easier for everyone and alleviate some of Mr M’s worries.
