A Very Chair-ful Evening
8 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Crewe.

Tonight saw 8 dedicated members return to local organisation, my CWA. My CWA is an amazing organisation that supports individuals and families who have been affected by domestic violence.
The work that they do at My CWA is incredible. They collect every household item you can think of - pretty much every item needed to set up a new home for people who have had to flee from their own. Sofas, TVs, dishes, plates, buggies, clothes, hoovers, tables, chairs. The list is endless.
Tonight we were tasked with clearing an area in the store that was full of tables, chairs, mattresses, desks etc. The area needed clearing so that there is space for the influx of toys and donations that will soon be arriving for Christmas. They will need to be sorted and quarantined before redistribution
We cleared the area, and between us, we also sorted lots more toys onto the racking area. Claire finished off the baby corner that she started last week and Alison had a glorious time organising DVDs!!
There was definitely a Christmasy feel in the air tonight - that might have had something to do with sorting out Christmas decorations, Christmas wrapping and Christmas gifts. I know it’s only October but it was nice all the same.
It was a pleasure to work at My CWA again this evening (thank you for having us). Proud of always of our fabulous team ❤️
