A TV soap opera
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

When we arrived Mr J had already organised the planned bookcase dismantling and there were just a couple of pieces of wood to take outside. However…he had just taken delivery of possibly the world’s biggest TV and new TV stand that in their massive boxes took up most of the living room.
So how tricky could a TV cabinet be to put together? The answer is, very…as I visualised the TV stand designer laughing maniacally at the poor souls who would have to assemble it!
But we managed it in true GoodGym style. 🪛 🔧
Then there was the small matter of adding the massive leg to the bottom of the world’s biggestTV and then lifting the world’s biggest TV onto the beautifully assembled stand. I’m just glad Anne and myself have obviously been working on upper body strength! 💪
Picture of Anne (average sized human person, not a miniature!) next to TV for scale! 🤣
There was also the matter of a massive spaghetti junction of cabling that required a degree in electrical engineering to fathom. We didn’t have that so sadly had to leave the TV in situ with Mr J needing to contact his internet provider (as that wasn’t working) and then retrying it.
