A Sticker for a Vaccine
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Brunel Primary Care Network in Portsmouth.

Tracey and Mel were the only volunteers for this afternoon's 2hr vaccine clinic welcoming people in and completing cards, taking them to the treatment room. We were expecting the younger children to this clinic and had 16 people on the roster. They all came along, some very confident and looking forward to getting their vaccine, others weren't so sure. We spent time finding out the children's favourite Easter treats, what they had planned for their Easter break, and telling them about the sticker they would be getting - trying to distract them whilst they waited. About an hour in, we realised that Bleachy was doing some gardening, so we took a photo opportunity where he seemed intent on trying to give Tracey a haircut!! He has certainly done a great job in the gardens around the surgery. The 2 hrs went really quickly and it was lovely to travel home in the light with some sunshine still peeping through.
