A Short Course for Treatment
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Wednesday, 6th of December 2023
Sevan signed up for a quick, after work circuit of Ealing to deliver Ms J her regular medication. The friend who usually collected for Ms J wasn't available, so the GoodGym sign was beamed into the sky over Ealing to call for assistance.
The 6pm mission sounded easy enough. Sevan set off to Ealing Broadway, then north up the hill. He needed to get to the pharmacy before 6:30pm according to the mission confirmation.
Sevan had left home early and arrived at 6:01pm to find the pharmacy lights off. Some people were still inside and the sliding door hadn't gotten the "we're closed" message either as it invited Sevan in. It turns out that on Wednesday they close at 6pm. Luckily, the pharmacists dispensed Ms J's medicine allowing Sevan to run back down the hill to finish the course and make the vital delivery. Phew!
