A shed load of painting
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.
- Saturday, 28th of April 2018
2 GoodGym Yorkies arrived at Mr J's to finish off painting his fence and shed with creosote.
On arrival Mr J showed us where a previous group of missioners had got to with painting the fence. We were to finish off the job as well as paint the shed. There was also a bit of mowing to do if we had the time.
While Paul helped Mr J cover the conservatory windows with a splash sheet (their proximity to the shed put them in the danger zone!) I got to work on the fence. Soon, Paul was also brandishing a paintbrush, making light work of covering the shed. Meanwhile, Mr J proved the old saying wrong by finding watching paint dry quite interesting...
It's completely changed colour where it's dried!
After 90 minutes, with all the painting done, Paul had a quick go with the lawnmower to tidy up the back lawn. Then we bid our farewells, leaving a happy Mr J to enjoy his Saturday.
