A rake's progress
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Saturday, 24th of October 2015
Both GoodGymers arrived from opposite directions for today's mission. Geographically and physically. One of us had just set a Parkrun PB, and the other had just woken up.
Dave set to digging up weeds, while Paul went to trim back some rose bushes into what can only be called minimalist topiary. At this point Mrs. P tapped on the window and proffered up a rake, which made dealing with the leaves and moss a lot easier.
Lots of conversation around how not to pace a race, and if a 5k "PB" counts if it's part of a longer run, and the time flew by. Before we knew it, we'd got everything tidy, and it was time to head off for lunch.
