A passion for volunteering
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 2nd of November 2019
Anna and Shreena got their wellies and scarves on to tackle the overgrowth of Ms R's Garden in the cold and rain. We were soon taking layers off as the sunshine came out which was a lovely surprise.
Ms R gave us instructions to cut back everything including the ever growing passion flower plant that was obstructing her entrance to the garden so that she could use her garden again.
From pulling endless bindweed to trimming brambles we managed to fill over 4 bags of garden waste in 1 hour which gave us enough time to get to the berry maze for the Community Mission. We just love volunteering with Goodgym!
