Today was all about helping the festive runs happen.
The early shift of Rachel, Rosie, Charlotte and Tracey arrived in Castle Field at dark o'clock to help set up registration and prep the finish as well as answering lots of runners' questions.
Angela was in her place near home at not much later ready to direct the runners down an alleyway back towards Bransbury Park.
I did a bit of registration help, then ran the half.
Meanwhile, Maura had arrived and been given a spot by the Pyramids and Judy was in the finish area giving out medals and milkybars.
Once I'd finished my run and put on many many layers of clothes, I helped dish out the finisher t-shirts and Jo joined later after her marathon and did a stint helping keep the queue moving.
The last runner came in just after 3:30 so everyone got to go home before dark!
Well done also to Pippa for the marathon and Louisa for the half. Kudos to Dr Jo for cheering duties with a 2 week old Freddie, he's a GoodGymer in the making already!
