A lotta litter from a little park
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.

Tamworth Park was the focus for Fun Friday #2 - caring for Portsmouth's green spaces.
On first glance, there didn't seem to be a lot of litter to collect, but in just an hour Mel, Kat and I filled 3 bags with recyclables and 2 bags with rubbish. Peculiar finds included a bicycle saddle, a pushchair handle, two odd shoes and two odd gloves.
We cleared litter from almost every nook and cranny of this small park, including digging out bottles and cans from the bushes and pulling rubbish from the pond.
Kat was determined to extract every piece of litter from the tangle of trees overhanging the water and the bottles floating in the pond, and managed to avoid taking a chilly dip!
