A Job Nearly Done
14 GoodGymers made their way 7.0km to help their local community in Hackney.
- Tuesday, 13th of October 2015
We welcomed lots of new faces this Tuesday evening in Hackney which fortunately all came attached to pairs of hands! Those were soon put to good use emptying the last of the Narrow Way planters. Our two tonne record from last week was easily and quickly smashed as the earth piled up and over the top of the third tonne sack.
you'd have had to carry the remaining soil home in your pockets.
So reluctant were our diggers to leave before the last planter was scooped clean that we ran out of time to do any squats! Well, we managed a few at the end, of course. Sorry we couldn't have stayed all night, but the bags really were full to the brim - you'd have had to carry the remaining soil home in your pockets.
Thanks for all your hard work and I hope to see our new Good Gymers again soon. Next week we'll be taking a break from planters and returning to our friends at St Johns. It's head torch season so bring one if you have it. x
