A hot summer's day tale!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Well, today was definitely a hot day, I noticed that as I was cycling to Windsor to visit Mrs D. She was asleep when I arrived, but was quite happy to answer the door bell, when I rang. She told me that yesterday was her son's birthday, and he'd called her to ask what time of the day or night he was born... That has brought back memories for Mrs D, and she was telling me how, when she went to have him, the nurse put her in a very small room, and she was feeling very claustrophobic and restless, not knowing what was to come, being her first time giving birth and all... There was a brick wall in front of the window and her husband, in an attempt to help her calm down, had suggested she should start counting the bricks... She said that was the worst thing he could have said at that point in time, and replied by asking him if he wanted to see her to jump out the window!!... Oops, Mrs D has always been a feisty lady!
