A barrow full of laughs
22 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.
- Monday, 6th of July 2015
- Led by Laura Williams
This week 22 GoodGym runners dressed up as farmers, donned West Country accents and headed down to Stepney City Farm. After the 2.5km run to the farm we did a range of high energy task mainly involving digging, turning and moving compost in wheel barrows whilst also looking are rabbits, donkeys and sheep and making amazed noises of delight.
After we had finished the task Tom took us to a local park to undergo some farm yard themed warm ups before completing some mini group race sprints. When we were all suitably exhausted we split into two groups to take either a direct, or more circuitous run home.
