3 men and a little lady
4 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Westminster.
- Saturday, 19th of September 2015
Brenda, Nicole's GoodGym coach, had a collection of around 1000 DVD’s and Videos that she wanted to donate to charity, so we were on a mission to box them up and walk them 7 minutes down the road to her local charity shop. Brenda has been collecting them over 5 years but felt it was time to let go to create some space.
Nicole took on a more “supervisory role” due to a back injury from running a Marathon so left all the heavy lifting to the other GoodGymer's. Patrick had already been on two missions that morning, Paul on one before this. George had been to Triathlon training and one who shall remain nameless (Paul) was suffering from a late one the night before! Needless to say everyone was pretty worn out but powered on with no complaints.
After two trips to the shop with numerous stops on the way where Paul kept stopping to pick up his dropped dvd's we said our goodbyes and all headed home for some much needed rest. . Brenda was really grateful for the help and left a Thank You card with me addressed to everyone at Goodgym
